Bio‑Hybrid GmbH is a German tech startup that rethinks and sustainably shapes the future of mobility. For less smog, more smartness and more quality of life. With a team of some 30 members at its Nuremberg and Munich locations, the company is preparing for the production launch of the canopied Bio‑Hybrid pedelec scheduled for mid-2021. In its DUO, Cargo BOX and Cargo PICK-UP versions, the new mobility concept closes the gap between bicycles and cars. Originally founded by Schaeffler, the company now operates under the umbrella of the Meisterwerk Group following a management buyout.

Your key responsibilities

  • Mechanical and electrical integration of systems and components in the vehicle
  • Startup of sample parts in the vehicle environment and in the laboratory setting
  • Electrical measurement and review of sample parts and circuitries
  • Mechanical modification of vehicles and sample parts
  • Scheduling and assurance of test vehicle availability
  • Measuring technology instrumentation of vehicles
  • Support of driving tests and events
  • Support of vehicle testing and validation
  • Support of team members in a variety of tasks

Your profile

  • Completed training as a technician or “master craftsman” in mechatronics, automotive engineering, automotive electrical engineering or similar fields
  • Very good (automotive) electronics and electrical engineering skills
  • Very good mechanical skills
  • Cutting and chip-less component machining skills
  • Strong customer orientation and strong service commitment
  • Class B/3, ideally C1E, driver's license
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Independent, efficient, target- and solution-oriented working style, paired with a high level of personal responsibility and goal orientation
  • Team-focused communicative personality
  • Good written and verbal German and English language skills
