Bio‑Hybrid wins Green Concept Award
Another accolade for our development and design team: The Bio‑Hybrid is a winner in the 2020 Green Product Award competition! Because Bio‑Hybrid Cargo and Bio‑Hybrid Passenger not only combine a modern, appealing design with practical usefulness, but both vehicles are eco-friendly and, as a result, offer the opportunity to make cities cleaner and more attractive: a piece of the puzzle in making our planet a little greener – this is exactly part of our vision and drives us day by day.
Since 2013 the Green Product Award presented in collaboration with the IKEA Foundation has been recognizing green ideas and products in 14 categories. For the 2020 Green Product Award, 1,463 students, start-ups and companies from 52 countries submitted their ideas and concepts. From the 169 nominated entries an international jury selected the best 37, focused on design, innovation and sustainability aspects. The Bio‑Hybrid is one of the winners and receives the Green Concept Award in the Mobility category! This award is another recognition of our efforts to put an innovative mobility concept on the road.
We feel that the Bio‑Hybrid perfectly fits the motto of the Green Product Award: “Have faith and try and change the world,” quoting the late British political consultant and life peer Lord Philip Gould. Precisely that is what we’re aiming for with the Bio‑Hybrid – a new, green form of mobility that will make our cities a little more livable. The Bio‑Hybrid is designed to avoid traffic jams and to take its drivers to their individual destinations with zero emissions and no hassle.
The Green Concept Award proves that we’re on the right track, but we’re shooting for more. And that’s where you come into play: We can also win the “Green Product & the Green Concept Audience Award” and need your support for this audience award. You can vote for our innovative mobility concept here up until the end of April!
