Exciting insights into the “Wunder Mobility Summit”
From mobility experts for mobility experts. The “Wunder Mobility Summit” (WMS) has brought together more than 350 of the brightest minds to discuss novel approaches to urban mobility. We at Schaeffler Bio‑Hybrid GmbH were invited to Hamburg to join other international attendees at the headquarters of the company with the same name “Wunder Mobility.”
As a partner of the summit, we brought two Bio‑Hybrid prototypes with us – a Passenger and a Cargo in the pick-up version – which we made available for test drives. Almost 100 interested people grabbed the chance to take part in the “Driving Experience” along the waterfront of the Hafencity district. The feedback? Very positive and inspiring.
Representatives from the courier, express and parcel services as well as specialist journalists also took the Bio‑Hybrid for a spin and provided their feedback. Their responses are important for us on the road to launching the production models at the end of 2020.
“Wunder Mobility” calls its event Mobility Summit – an innovation festival on the future of mobility. And that is exactly what it was. Highly esteemed speakers and international leaders of innovation gave attendees an in-depth look at the subject matter in lectures and panel discussions, which revealed new trends and visions. We took part in many fascinating conversations and made new contacts. Representatives from 230 different companies participated in the forum held at the International Maritime Museum. They all share one goal: to promote sustainable mobility.
“Wunder Mobility” was founded in 2014. The startup is one of the fastest growing mobility technology companies in Europe, with a staff of more than 150 people from over 30 countries. The company portfolio includes, among others, software, hardware and operational services (car, bike and scooter pooling), designed to help businesses and cities around the world establish smart and sustainable mobility.
